Study Planner: Syllabus AI is a local-first planner. Courses, assignments, exams, grades, notes, preferences, and onboarding state are stored on your device.
In the current app, pasted syllabus text, readable text-based PDFs, and camera/photo text recognition are processed on the device. Native iOS camera/photo recognition uses Apple’s Vision framework. Imported results remain editable and require your review before they are applied. This build does not upload syllabus content to a StudyPlanner parser service.
On iOS, widgets receive a compact on-device App Group snapshot containing only the reviewed display fields needed for the selected widget. Raw syllabus text, grades, notes, purchase state, and the full planner database are not written to widgets. Notifications are scheduled through the operating system only when you enable reminders.
Apple App Store or Google Play handles subscription purchases and restores under its own policies. StudyPlanner does not sell planner data, share it with advertisers, or use third-party advertising trackers.
You can decline camera, photo-library, or notification permission and continue using supported features after access is unlocked. Delete individual planner content in the app, or remove all locally stored StudyPlanner data by uninstalling the app.
For privacy questions or deletion help, email [email protected] or use Support in StudyPlanner settings.
